Galt Museum Community Mosaic
This summer the Galt Museum & Archive has a fun community present planned. We are going to refresh the outside of the museum with a new community mosaic, one made up of portraits of hundreds of southern Albertans. To achieve this we will need many southern Albertans to submit a photograph of themselves. This mosaic will be a venue for the community to showcase itself and to celebrate its diversity. It is important to us that we have submissions from across southern Alberta and not just Lethbridge where we are based!
“This May the Galt Museum and Archives is collecting photographs of residents across southern Alberta to assemble into their Community Mosaic. Send in yours today! https://galtmuseum.com/community-mosaic”
Anyone who is interested need only go to the link written above and submit their photograph. We are collecting submissions online for all of May and the mosaic should be complete and installed on the outside of the museum in early July.
