Application Procedure
In addition to the Development Permit application and fee, you are also required to submit:
- One copy of a site plan (please see the example [PDF])
- One set of construction drawings or blue prints.
The permit and plans must be submitted to the Town of Coalhurst Development Officer, Leda Kozak Tittsworth, at the Coalhurst Town Office, 100 – 51 Avenue, Coalhurst, where the appropriate fee will determined for the applicant to make payment.

All applications are checked by the Development Officer for correct setback distances, lot coverage, appearance and construction method.

- 15.2m x 30.5 = 463.5 sq. metres. (50’x 100’ = 5,000 s.q feet)
Minimum yard dimensions:
- Single units:
- Front yard – 6.1 metres (20 feet)
- Side yard – 1.2 metres (4 feet)
- Rear yard – 6.1 metres (20 feet)
- Carports/garages & accessory buildings:
- Side yard – 1.2 metres (4 feet)
- Rear yard – 1.5 metres (5 feet)
Maximum site coverage:
- Principal and accessory buildings – 33%
- Accessory buildings – 14%
Minimum floor area:
- Principal building 74.3 sq. metres (800 sq. feet)
Maximum building height:
- Primary building – 9.1 metres (30 feet)
- Accessory building – 4.6 metres (15 feet)
