The Town of Coalhurst is pleased to invite local residents to celebrate National Volunteer Week 2024 with a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon!
On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the Town is hosting a luncheon for residents who give of their time throughout the year. This might include volunteering with a local non-profit group, helping out at one of our local schools, taking part in a Council committee, or helping to plan, coordinate or host community events such as Canada Day and Miner’s Days. But it doesn’t end there. Maybe you volunteer by shoveling your neighbour’s driveway and sidewalk so they don’t have to. Or perhaps you grab groceries and help run errands for someone who needs an extra set of hands.
In Coalhurst, we believe that “Every Moment Matters” when it comes to volunteering. So let’s get together to recognize and appreciate all the heroes in our community who make a difference!
This luncheon will include a catered lunch, live entertainment, a chance to mix and mingle, and information about various volunteer groups and activities in Coalhurst.
To ensure we have the right amount of food on hand, we do require attendees to RSVP. If you plan to attend, please fill out a quick form at this link before Friday, April 5, 2024.
The Town of Coalhurst would like to thank the Government of Alberta and Volunteer Alberta for supporting this event.
