Phase 1 excavation of the constructed wetland/stormwater management facility that is under construction north of 45th Avenue is nearing completion. Phase 1 consisted of the excavation of approximately 120,000 m3 of clay. Much of this clay has been removed from the site, but some has been stockpiled and will be removed over the coming months. Phase 2 will be starting this year and will include final grading. The Town of Coalhurst will share detailed design drawings once they have been completed.
