The Coalhurst Community Garden is located in the south end of Miners Memorial Park, near the playground and social area. Community Plot Gardeners (Gardeners) may occupy and maintain one (1) raised garden plot within the Town-owned Community Garden. Gardeners are ambassadors who ensure their allocated plot and its surrounding area are clean, litter free and appropriately maintained.
PLOTS FOR GARDENING
- Each plot has approx. 62 Sq.ft of gardening space within an 8’ x 12’ enclosed plot.
- Plots are available for Town of Coalhurst residents only and are allocated on a first-come, first served basis.
- To participate in the garden, gardeners must submit a Gardener Application Form, signed Agreement, and the appropriate fees to the Town Office per the schedule outlined below.
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE TIMING OF THE GARDEN OPENING IN 2024, THE SCHEDULE BELOW HAS BEEN ALTERED. GARDENER APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE ACCEPTED UNTIL THE GARDEN IS FULL. THIS IS STILL ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.
If you wish to participate in the Community Garden Program, please review the Community Garden Guidelines and complete the Gardener Application Form and Agreement.
