At Coalhurst, we view advocacy as the combined effort of our citizens, Council, and Administration working together with other governments to achieve specific municipal plans or goals on behalf of Coalhurst residents. Advocacy is the action of expressing our needs and coordinating efforts to achieve goals and desired outcomes. Coalhurst Council and Administration is dedicated to representing the needs of our municipality with other governments by building meaningful relationships and working together on behalf of all our citizens.
Below is Coalhurst’s Intergovernmental Advocacy Plan which outlines: the roles of the municipal, provincial and federal governments; Coalhurst Town Council’s strategic advocacy priorities; and how the Town is working alongside other government bodies to move priorities forward.
